Experience |
Army of Darkness ultimate is intense. We've come to be known as dark horse - a giant killer in the league. Always the underdog, we shock the competition with refined play, unconventional style, lightning speed, and utmost respect for the game. Bill Stewart, who plays on Cambridge's Metal club, has coached us for 12 years. Since then, our program has produced some of the finest club players in the Northeast and beyond. |
Funding |
We receive complete UPA fee and tournament funding, as well as equipment and facility use. Average annual expenses are generally less than $50 per person, for transportation costs when necessary. |
Goals |
Competitively, we aim high. In 2006, we attended Division III Nationals. UPA College Nationals is also in our scope. Overall, our team focuses on having fun. We build a cohesive team, with high-school stars alongside newcomers. We're a close-knit group of teammates, playing for love of the sport. Respect is very important to us - we don't spike the disc, we make fair calls, and we give an impromptu cheer every chance we get. We are not a win-at-all-costs team. But take a look at our results - we get it done. |
