Experience |
The women's ultimate frisbee club at Davis has a tradition of being a fun yet competitive program. Back in the day, the Davis women's team was called the Cats and made it to the finals of nationals in '87, '88 and won the national championships in '89. In 1998 the Davis Women's Ultimate team was reborn as the Pleiades (the seven sisters constellation), and once again, became a top-notch program. For the past 5 years the Davis team has ranked in the top twenty nationally with a first place finish at the national championships in 2004. Our team is very diverse. Some of us have never played sports before while others of us come from backgrounds in soccer, crew, water polo, pole vaulting, basketball, track, rugby, cross country and swimming. Regardless of your previous experience, we have the skills and coaching staff to mold anyone off the street into a fabulous ultimate player! |

Goals |
Overall, our team goal each year is to make it to nationals and have fun getting there. This is why we practice three times a week, do track workouts, throw on the quad endlessly and travel all over to compete. |
